For Referrer (Who is sharing the referral code) - N500 cashback given on first successful recharge of the referee (New User using referral code).
For Referee - Applicable on first 3 successful recharges. Maximum Cashback to Referee on each of the first 3 successful recharges is limited to N500.
Applicable only when payment is done through ATM/Debit/Credit card. Entire payment done through ZotoCash is not eligible for referral bonus.
A card can be used only once to claim referral. You will not get referral reward if card used to make first payment has been used already to claim referral by someone else.
Referral reward will be added to ZotoCash within 24hrs of making successful recharge.
The maximum amount of Referral reward through this program is N40,000.
REFERRAL PROGRAM : DETAIL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Welcome to Zoto. This document is an electronic record in terms of the rules and regulations, privacy policy and Terms of Use for access or usage of Zoto platform (here in after referred to as "Zoto"). Your use of the Zoto and services and tools are governed by "Terms of Use" as applicable to the Zoto including the applicable policies which are incorporated herein by way of reference. By mere use of the Zoto, You shall be contracting with Hedonmark Management Services Limited and these terms and conditions including the policies constitute Your binding obligations, with Zoto. In these Terms, references to "You", "User", "Your" shall mean the end user/shopper/customer accessing Zoto. The term "Zoto", "We", "Us", "Our" shall mean Hedonmark Management Services Limited and its affiliates. For the purpose of this program,
An existing User of the Zoto App who invites his/her friends to download and use the Zoto App by sharing his/her referral code, shall be termed as the Referrer. A new user who downloads and signs-up with the Zoto App for the first time on a device on which Zoto App was not installed earlier, after using the referral code of an existing Zoto App User shall be termed as the Referee.
Subject to the terms and conditions mentioned here in, the referral rewards shall be the following:
When the Referee downloads the Zoto App, signs up, he/she is eligible to referral rewards on first 3 successful recharges. The referee is eligible for 100% cashback with a maximum cashback of N500 on each of the 3 successful recharges in his/her ZotoCash wallet. For Ex. If the user does recharges of N200, N600, N500 amount on first, second, and third transactions respectively, user will get N200, N500, and N500 on each of these transactions.
When the Referee makes his/her first transaction/recharge on the Zoto App, the Referrer shall receive ZotoCash worth N 500. The referrer would receive this cashback on only the first successful recharge by the referee. All subsequent recharges of referee will not result in any cashback given the referrer, even if the referee earns the referral for those transactions.
The Referee shall be eligible to receive the referral reward, if and only if the following conditions are met:
The device on which the Referee downloads the Zoto App, must not have installed the Zoto App earlier.
The Email ID and/or Phone number through which the Referee signs-up with Zoto App, must not have been used for signing up with the Zoto App earlier.
The mobile number provided by the Referee for receiving the OTP must not have been used for receiving an OTP for this program earlier.
The device on which the Referee downloads the Zoto App should not be rooted or Jail-broken.
Neither the Referrer nor the Referee should install the Zoto App using App Runtime for Chrome, Emulators or Simulators.
Bank card used for transaction by referee should not have been used by any other user for the same referral program.
Referral is valid only when the first transaction is made using a credit card/debit card
Referral is valid on minimum card transaction value of N50.
Referral is valid only once per credit card/debit card/mobile number.
Referral is not valid on ZotoCash, Netbanking & Virtual Card Transactions.
The new user referral code is available for new customers only and cannot be combined with any other codes or promotions.
Upon successful sign-up, provided all the conditions above are met:
The Referee shall receive the referral reward within 24 hours of sign-up. Zoto shall reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
The Referee will be able to redeem/use these points immediately after receiving them. Zoto shall reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
For each case of referral, the Referrer shall be eligible to receive the referral reward, if and only if the following conditions are met:
The Referee in question meets all the eligibility criteria listed above.
The Referee uses the referral code of the Referrer to sign-up with the Zoto app.
The Referee makes a successful recharge/transaction on the Zoto app.
Upon successful order placement by the Referee, provided all the conditions listed above are met:
The Referrer shall receive the referral reward within 24 hours of successful recharge by the Referee, provided all the conditions listed above are met. Zoto shall reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
ZotoCash can be redeemed by the Referrer immediately after receiving the reward. We will reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
A user can send unlimited referral invitations through this program. However, the maximum amount of rewards one can earn through this program is limited to N 40,000.
If referrer has already reached the maximum limit to earn from referral, and some referee uses referrer’s code to signup and make the first successful transaction, the referral would not get the reward for such cases.
Referee in such cases would also not get the reward.
Rewards under this program shall be given in the form of ZotoCash. Usage/redemption of ZotoCash will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
ZotoCash can be used only for making a purchase on the Zoto app. These cannot be taken as cash-back, or transferred to a bank account.
ZotoCash cannot be transferred from one Zoto account to another.
Usage of ZotoCash is not restricted to a maximum % of the final order amount.
Zoto reserves the right to change/modify these usage criteria. In that event, the user shall be notified.
Any fraud or abuse concerning the program is subject to strict administrative and / or legal action by us, including but not limited to reversal of referral reward and/or termination of membership. A fraud encompasses:
If a user is found referring himself using multiple IDs or phone numbers.
Any other attempt to take unfair advantage, as deemed by us, of the Referral Program.
Participation in the Zoto Referral Program may require you to submit personal information about you and the users you refer, such as name and email address. You agree to receive communications from us with regard to your participation in the Zoto Referral Program,and to allow us to communicate with your friends about your participation (for example,by disclosing to your friends that an invitation was sent by you). Any information collected from you or your referred users as part of the Zoto Referral Program shall be subject to Zoto's Terms and Conditions.
You have given your consent to Zoto to use such personal information and those of the users referred by you in line the Zoto referral Program, and shall not bring any legal action against Zoto for use of the personal information so supplied.
We may terminate your eligibility for a referral bonus or terminate your account, or the accounts of Zoto members you refer, if you or they take any of the following actions:
Open multiple accounts, including with different email addresses, for the same person in order to generate additional referral rewards.
Refer customers using spam, display advertising, sponsored links, unsolicited e-mails, or links on message boards or forums.
Use false names, impersonate other people, or otherwise provide false or misleading information to us.
Offer incentives to others to sign-up with Zoto using your referral code.
Violate these terms or any other terms and conditions on Zoto.
Participate in the Zoto Referral Program where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law or regulations.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion at any time and without prior notice or liability to you to add to, remove or otherwise change the terms of this program, including but not limited to:
Modifying the amount of the referral rewards.
Modifying the eligibility criteria for the Referee and/or the Referrer.
Modifying when the referral reward is given to the Referee and/or the Referrer.
Modifying how you may use the referral rewards earned through this program.
Requiring minimum purchase amounts for redemption of referral reward.
Instituting a cap on the maximum number of successful referrals for which the Referrer earns rewards.
Modifying the maximum amount of referral rewards that one may earn.
Discontinuing the Zoto Referral Program entirely.
We shall post an updated version of these terms on the Zoto App, and you shall be deemed to have accepted such changes by continuing to use the Zoto App or the Zoto Referral Program after the date such changes are posted.
This is a limited period offer and is subject to change, at the sole discretion of Zoto without incurring any liability whatsoever.
Zoto reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel, update or withdraw this Program at any time without notice or liability whatsoever. Upon such premature suspension, inconvenience, cessation, withdrawal, termination or closure by the Company, no person shall be entitled to claim loss of any kind whatsoever. This program is valid only on Zoto’s mobile application (on Android, iOS platforms) and on no other website/mobile application. Customers agree to be bound by these “Terms and Conditions”, the “Terms of Use”, “Privacy Policy” and other relevant documentation that are available on Zoto Mobile App/website including any modifications, alterations or updates that we make. This referral program shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2004. All disputes arising out of the referral program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Lagos, Nigeria.
